Insurance Coverage and Billing

The full payment of $185.00 in required for the first visit.

Insurance billing service is offered as a courtesy to patients who have insurance that covers Acupuncture services. This can be determined by a verification of benefits procedure at the time of your first visit. We are in network with  Blue Shield as a  provider.

A superbill will be provided to you, if you prefer to submit to your own insurance company. You submit the superbill to your insurance company and the company pays you the reimbursable amount allowed by your plan.

If you have a deductible to meet, then the covered portion of your payment will go toward meeting the deductible. You will be required to pay the $85.00 for follow up visits until your deductible is met. Some insurance plans waive the deductible for acupuncture services. In this case, your insurance will pay the covered portion of your visit right away. If your plan does not cover the services provided, you will be responsible for the full payment at the time the services are rendered.
